Bhrigu Saddal Paddathi (BSP) or "Bhrigu simple methods" is a set of methods used in Vedic astrology to predict events in a person's life, and conversely in the absence of information such as time of birth, estimate the correct time of birth for a person's birth chart given the correct day of birth.
Generally, BSP works on the basis of house placements from where an individual planet is sitting. So far, the following are generally known:
- 12th house from Jupiter - age 24
- 12th house from Ketu - age 24
- 4th house (forward square) from Mars - age 32
- Houses occupied by Saturn and Sun - age 33.
